Razorpay is building a new-age digital banking hub (Neobank) for businesses in India with the mission is to enable frictionless banking and payments experiences for businesses of all shapes and sizes. What started as a B2B payments company is processing billions of dollars of payments for lakhs of businesses across India.
The Role:
Razorpay’s partnership team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with SME partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you will be on the front line of interacting with our most strategic partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Razorpay's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help grow the enterprise business.
As an Associate Manager for Partnership, you will foster and manage relationships with some of the biggest tech companies globally as well as in India. You will own C-level relationships with key partners and grow them to their potential. You will work on cutting edge payments products that deliver processing solutions for our merchants. You will also create large, consistent business growth streams for Razorpay by unlocking great value for merchants.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving/scaling up the categories of industry assigned through the partnership model
- Instrumental in MTUs and GMV growth from the partnership portfolio
- Enabling internal operational agility and efficient cross-team functioning
- To be able to perform a quality check on processed leads.
- Worked with partners to resolve any and all issues
- Follow communication procedures and guidelines
- Improved internal reporting by leveraging various tools ( Such as Salesforce )
- Work closely with other teams such as Product, Engineering and Sales to ensure a great partner experience.
- Should be able to engage with Partners via Online and Offline events.
- Manage all post-lead interactions with Enterprise level partners through strong relationship-building, product knowledge, planning and execution
- Maintain a deep understanding of the product and speak with partners about the most relevant features/functionality for partners to be able to sell better.
- Be the single point of contact for our Key partners and Act as an escalation point to drive resolution in a timely, proactive manner.
Mandatory Qualification:
- 5-8 years of Sales or Customer engagement is preferred.
- Should have experience in Handling and Managing Enterprise Accounts, SME Accounts
- Would be great to have someone who has proven experience in customer facing roles.
- Will be able to go and physically meet the partners, negotiate and close the deals.
- Should have worked with customers in managing customer requirements, delivering and deploying a software solution, technical issue resolution and escalation management at both the business owner and executive levels.
- Strong communication skills and technical aptitude
- Payments and Partnerships background is a Plus.
- Should be able to engage with the customer in a technical discussion to understand the issues the customers are facing and provide solutions.
- Organized and reliable; able to work independently with little direction when necessary.
- The ideal candidate is a hands-on and results-oriented person with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basics of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
- Basic understanding of any CRM tool, prior experience in the Payments, E Commerce and Banking industry preferred.
