Your Role
This is a unique opportunity for a top- performing candidate who seeks a high-impact, high-visibility position with the ability to significantly influence the future direction of Razor Group. This role requires someone who is highly motivated and can effectively combine strategic thinking, strong communication, project management and quantitative skills
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting in executing both global strategic M&A transactions and single-brand acquisitions (or disposals) end-to-end including deal structuring, advisor coordination, overseeing and executing due diligence workstreams, and more
- When evaluating potential M&A opportunities, you will conduct substantial amounts commercial and financial analysis related to the target, including studying its financial statements, conducting market & competitor research, performing deep-dive analysis on the target’s brand & product portfolio, determining key performance indicators (KPI’s) to assess business quality , as well as prepare comprehensive investment memos for Razor Group’s Board of Directors facilitate investment decisions.
- Aside from M&A, you will also help in drive Razor’s fundraising and investor relations activities, which will include the execution of financing transactions (both equity and debt) end-to-end and optimizing the company’s capital structure
- Further, you will play an instrumental role in preparing Razor for an eventual successful public markets debut through an initial public offering (IPO), including drafting the company’s Equity Story, preparing the Analyst Presentation, supporting in making regulatory filings, coordinating various advisor workstreams, as well as managing the overall IPO process
Your Profile
To succeed in this role, you:
- Have 2-3+ years of total experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity or Venture Capital investing, Strategy Consulting, Transaction Advisory or a similar role;
having worked at a start-up previously is not a requirement but a plus - Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment that has a proactive, hands-on hands-on and “can-do” mentality and approach
- Demonstrate clear responsibility ownership and end-to-end thinking capability, e.g. when it comes to structuring project timelines and navigating through transaction milestones
- Have high analytical rigor and strong financial analysis skills
- Possess strong commercial & business acumen to adequately identify key transaction rationales and risks of a potential M&A deal
- Have a track record of completing multiple M&A / capital markets transactions and/or advisory projects with a high degree of analytical focus
- Have excellent problem-solving, communication and project management skills
- Be business-fluent in English (written and spoken), fluency in German is not a requirement but a plus
- Are interested in the global Consumer and Technology space
