Raye IT is seeking a Scrum Master to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating and supporting the Scrum process across multiple teams to ensure effective delivery of high-quality products. The Scrum Master will work closely with the Product Owner and Development Team to ensure that the team is following the Scrum framework and meeting the goals of each sprint. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Scrum principles and practices, and experience in leading and coaching teams.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Work with the Product Owner to maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it is clearly defined, prioritized and actionable.
- Guide and coach the Development Team on self-organizing and cross-functional teamwork.
- Help the team to identify and remove impediments that are affecting their ability to deliver.
- Ensure that the team is following Scrum principles, practices, and values, and continuously improving their processes.
- Communicate with stakeholders and provide visibility into the team's progress, challenges, and successes.
- Foster a collaborative and transparent team environment that encourages open communication, feedback, and learning.
- Contribute to company Scrum Governance and Agile/Scrum Practice.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certified a plus.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and practices.
- Experience in leading and coaching cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to identify and remove impediments that are affecting the team's progress.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to navigate through uncertainty.
- Experience using Azure DevOps and the Agile template a plus.
