YOUR ROLE:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Associate Contracts Manager to join our contracts team. This role provides vital administrative support, helping to ensure seamless contract management and vendor coordination. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and an eagerness to grow in the field of contracts and compliance.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supporting the contracts team with administrative tasks related to contract management, including document preparation and file organization
- Support software renewals in a timely manner and within the client and OMNICOM current processes.
- Vendor management including invoices coordination and follow up.
- Coordinate basic vendor and subcontractor activities, ensuring effective communication and timely updates.
- Participate in team meetings, document key actions, and support follow-up tasks to ensure progress.
- Help gather information for compliance and contract reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve basic contract-related queries
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Communication Skills: ability to effectively collaborate various stakeholders
- Detail-Oriented: attention to detail and accuracy in contract review, analysis, and documentation.
- Organizational Skills: ability to maintain organized files, and manage multiple tasks
- Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with legal research resources, navigating government websites, basic concepts of contracting
- Team Collaboration: Ability to effectively collaborate through active listening, clear communication, respect for diversity, and personal ownership
- Technology: Comfortable working with contract management software, databases, and other relevant tools.
- Education: in pursuit of a degree in legal studies, paralegal studies, business, or other related area.
- Willingness to learn, and a proactive attitude towards gaining knowledge and new skills, while collaborating with a variety of internal and external teams.

This range is specific to Chicago and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
