Overview
We’re on an exciting and trailblazing journey with Mercedes-Benz on their mission to enable a more connected luxury customer experience, from Discovery to Loyalty. To achieve this, they must have the right technology in place that can scale and evolve. We know the destination Mercedes-Benz want to get to and will work back to determine if their current technology ecosystem is fit for purpose and what needs to change.
This is an important role within team x, working directly with our team of Martech Strategists you will help define project requirements, assess the risks and keep the team and client focused, engaged and on track.
We’re looking for someone who has drive and resilience. Is able to think beyond the current challenge and connect the right people to projects to find the best possible solution.
Ideally, you’ll have experience in Martech, or at a minimum understand the power of it when connected and configured correctly. You’ll work closely with our Technical Project Director and join a multi-skilled team that’s championing a truly customer centric, personalised and seamless experience for Mercedes-Benz customers.
The role
- Work across a number of Martech workstreams ensuring a solid project management foundation is in place:
- Responsible for the project plans, maintaining timelines and ensuring the overall critical path, milestones and deliverables are known and achieved.
- Actively monitor project scopes and budgets. If requirements change then the scope and team/expertise change too.
- Take an active role in key meetings and touchpoints across all live projects. Responsible for ensuring we’re prepared, meetings run to plan, actions are captured and project momentum is maintained.
- Own project status reports, meetings and follow ups.
- Develop new ways of working with the Technical Project Director that are right for the project/task at hand and fit with the client and stakeholder structure.
- Connect into PMO and resourcing needs to ensure we have the right people and expertise on the projects.
- Ensure key documentation is up to date, version controlled and saved in central locations.
Experience / Requirements
- A PM who is used to working in an agency environment and has experience in Martech with strong knowledge of the use & application of data or wants to grow and evolve their experience in Martech.
- Experience of working with a large global brand and can flex to varying perspectives e.g. global vs regional vs local.
- Must be a self-starter and able to drive projects forward, prioritise tasks, be solution orientated and ensure deadlines are met.
- Strong organisational and project management skills (scoping, scheduling project timelines, coordinating project teams, resource planning) as well as attention to detail.
- Comfortable with client liaison and always mindful of managing expectations
