Your Role

You’ll be setting up and executing marketing campaigns and making sure that they are delivered on time and to the client’s specifications. You’ll be working closely with the rest of the client team to ensure all monitoring and KPIs are met and ensuring the client team is seen as a value-added service at all times.

Your Responsibilities

Operational Management and Delivery:  being able to understand the client business – through delivery goals and to continually demonstrate how RAPP can add value

  • Ownership of operational delivery, ensuring tasks are delivered to schedule and to an exceptional standard
  • Easily build rapport and trust with others, advising client and internal team on delivery tasks and challenging briefs, be the sole RAPP representative at client meetings
  • Communicates powerfully – and is credible, provides a listening ear to the client, showing the ability to explain technical items in a non-technical way
  • When issues arise work with all internal team members to find a fast, effective resolution
  • Manage and monitor data activities
  • Monitor automated trigger campaigns and reporting
  • Schedule and manage client requested activities, following up with others to ensure items are progressing
  • Setup and execute adhoc and new trigger campaigns, including selecting the audiences for these campaigns
  • Deliver on adhoc data requests
  • Input into campaign development from a data perspective
  • Delivery and technical issue management and resolution
  • Quality assurance on all aspects of delivery
  • Attend client meetings
  • Take a brief from a client, interpret as required and follow through to delivery
  • Quote for new activities
  • Work to grow opportunities with the client

 

Specific to this role:

  • Lead management of key client stakeholder relationships and delivery duties
  • Working to onboard client activities and build the client relationship through regular on-site visits to the client offices

 

Skills and Experience

  • You’ll have excellent SQL skills
  • You’ll come from a database marketing background and have a solid understanding of both data and databases, from a marketing point of view
  • You’ll be a data-guru and have excellent data processing and data manipulation skills
  • Know your audience: strong communication skills are essential with both the client and internal parties are essential and you’ll be expected to have regular client contact. You’ll also need to be able to communicate technical information in a non-technical manner to stakeholders inside and outside of the company
  • You’ll need to have incredibly strong organisational skills, the ability to think on your feet and multi-task – you should thrive on dealing with simultaneous requests and a busy working day
  • Professionalism: we want someone who can demonstrate a professional service to both internal and external clients at all times
  • Ready to admit you don’t know it all: you should always be willing to seek assistance immediately from your team or colleagues when problems arise
  • Eagle-eyed – you should demonstrate attention to detail at all times and take pride in your work
  • You’ll be proactive in keeping an eye on data security issues at all times
  • We would expect you to respond promptly to technical queries and provide technical advice and support
  • We expect you to understand the needs of the client and respond efficiently and appropriately to meet these
  • We want you to be proactive and suggest ideas to add value to the client
  • Any knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud would be extremely advantageous
  • Knowledge of other CRM platforms such as Adobe Campaign, would be advantageous.
  • Experience of working within a marketing services business or within a marketing services team client-side
  • Previous work in a client facing role demonstrating the ability to build and maintain solid client relationships
  • Experience of working in multifunctional teams and managing others delivery
  • Excellent oral and written communication

Education and other requirements

  • Any knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud would be highly advantageous
  • GCSE or equivalent (including Maths) and a Degree or equivalent is essential
