As an Assistant Merchandiser at Rapha, you will become part of a team that is key to managing stock and sales in the business. In this role, you will be working with all Product Teams across Rapha, assisting to build a range which is forward thinking and commercial. 

Supporting the rest of the Merchandising department, you will help to ensure a balanced product range, which achieves the brand and departmental strategy. Working with trading teams to maximise sales and profit opportunities.

The role and your skills:

  • Analysing 
    •  You will provide analysis of sales. Identifying best and worst sellers and taking appropriate actions
    • Undertake ad-hoc analysis of performance
  • Reacting 
    •  In collaboration with stakeholders, you will react to trade and maximise sales opportunities
  • Managing 
    • You will be responsible for managing and assessing range plans for the necessary departments and recommending changes to the Merchandiser on range width and depth
    • Owning line cards for continuity products, understanding lead times and reviewing regional splits
    • Manage and be accountable for line lists and Buy Plans
  • Forecasting
    • In season WSSI & OTB management; producing re-forecasts of sales/stock/profit for review 
    • Forecasting and planning sales and buys inline with the Open to Buy (OTB)
  • Motivating
    • Take responsibility for building an effective and motivational team environment.
    • Champion the development and progression of MAAs. Inspiring them to achieve their best. 

 Do you have the following?

  • Approximately 3 years’  experience in Merchandising or in a similar data & analytics role  
  • Strong analytical, numerical and Excel skills (inc advanced formula and Pivot Tables)
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and a get the job done mindset 
  • The ability to work under pressure and take on constructive criticism
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm 
  • The ability to bring your A game and work to strict deadlines
  • A proactive approach to problem solving
