About the Role

As Ramp builds out its partnerships organization, we’re looking for an exceptional partner manager to join the Partnerships team to work on defining and executing the long-term engagement strategy with our key partners. These partnerships form the basis of Ramp’s product and as part of these efforts, this person will build internal business cases and identify product requirements, leading cross-functional teams and ensuring internal alignment. We’re looking for someone who is excellent at building relationships, is hyper-organized at managing complex projects, and skilled at getting cross-functional teams like product and marketing to work toward a unified and measurable goal.

What You'll Do

  • Leverage the fundamentals of day to day partner management to drive near-term and long-term success of critical projects with key partners
  • Ensure aligned goals, milestones, owners, deadlines, projects plans and escalation process
  • Project manage the program/project end-to-end with a focus on exceeding deadlines, avoiding issues, and problem solving ahead of time for issues that arise
  • Work closely with external and internal partners to track progress and problem solve key issues
  • Work with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, Finance, Legal and other teams to communicate a deep understanding of Ramp’s partners

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years of experience working in partner management 
  • A proven track record of working effectively in a product-centric environment with significant internal and external dependencies
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail, with a big focus on project management 
  • An operationally focused mindset, with an ability to see a deal through to success, far beyond signing, leading teams through execution by using planning, metrics, and organizational structures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong decision making skills, the ability to prioritize and guide teams through competing demands and complex problems
  • Work cross functionally with product and engineering teams to identify/influence partner optimization/growth opportunities
