Salary: $118,000 AUD

Job Summary

Support a team and portfolio of clients in implementing a thorough, profitable and efficient affiliate marketing strategy.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

Client Management

  • Establish and maintain regular and appropriate communication with the key contact(s) for the client through meetings, emails, calls and team support
  • Oversee all program implementation by developing and tracking client project plans
  • Act as global lead across our networks for shared clients
  • Lead team members in initiatives to retain existing clients
  • Building out strategies & planning that will grow revenue from existing and new client relationships
  • Helping the team launch clients quickly and efficiently – meet their requirements and set clear expectations
  • Salary banding is $118,000 AUD

Administrative

  • Own revenue forecasting process for portfolio of clients (w/ Analyst and Finance support)
  • Manage portfolio to 100%+ of revenue goal by reviewing weekly MTD revenue vs. goal, working with Analyst to understand root causes, and putting recovery plans in place
  • Raise sales opportunities and work with relevant parties to upsell existing clients
  • Taking 3-6 internal projects per year aimed to better the business overall
  • Work closely with US/SG/EU/JP counterparts to lead successful affiliate initiatives across territories

Team Management

  • Provide leadership to direct reports, motivate individuals to high performance
  • Allocate responsibilities, manage workload, prepare and manage training and progression
  • Responsible for the performance development of team members
  • Hold weekly meetings with team members to review client program performance, marketing strategy, and status of execution vs. planned marketing/strategy tactics

Key Requirements

Technical /functional expertise

  • Minimum 2 years experience in affiliate marketing
  • Thorough understanding of Rakuten Marketing products and how it can be customised according to requirements
  • Very strong MS Office suite skills
  • Good project management skills
  • People Management experience
  • Web literate

  • Highly organised, good time management, able to prioritise effectively, self-aware in respect of strengths and areas for development

Communication skills

  • Exemplary written and oral communication skills
  • Negotiation, diplomacy, able to translate client requirements into technical specifications

  • Ability to prioritize and follow-up on deliverables to ensure timelines and revenue targets are met
