This Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing various financial aspects of Rakuten Marketing’s existing business as well as potential business opportunities. More specifically, the Analyst is responsible for:
Commission payment process:
Monthly commission calculations, payments, and commission statements
Partnering with Sales team to discuss individual commission statements
Working with large revenue datasets
Compiling and analyzing company and departmental metrics
Assisting in producing forecasts and budgets
Creating financial reports and presentations
Carrying out miscellaneous finance group duties
Able to work in a high volume and constantly changing environment
Bachelor's degree preferably in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or Economics
2-3 years of corporate finance experience
Ability to synthesize complex information into relevant information for target audience
Advanced Microsoft Excel/financial modeling skills and proven quantitative and analytical abilities.
Self-starter who has the ability to organize and manage projects independently.
Effective communication skills and attention to detail are also a must
Experience with SQL preferred
Experience with Adaptive Insights, DOMO, and Alteryx a plus
