Rakuten Marketing is looking for a PPC Account Manager based in Berlin to own the Rakuten.de relationship. They will be responsible for directly delivering the Search element of the service we provide for them and providing client services for all channels (Search, Retargeting and Paid Social), but using delivery teams in Paris and London to execute on channels other than Search

We are scaling our Paid Search offering in Europe, off the back off significant growth in the US, Japan and Australia. The Paid Search Account Manager will form part of our multi-channel Client Services team, responsible for managing Paid Search campaigns in Europe. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and enjoy the prospect of working in a team that is growing this service in Europe. You’ll be a strong team player; able to work closely with our US Paid Search team to ensure best-practice in Paid Search, and with our Client Services team to execute Paid Search campaigns as part of a wider digital marketing strategy.

Requirements:

  • You’ll have experience of managing Paid Search campaigns with substantial budgets
  • You’ll have excellent knowledge of the entire Google stack, allowing you to build strategy across all product areas including YouTube, Smart Shopping and GDN
  • You’ll be able to build and nurture successful client relationships, and deliver first class service, aligned to client business goals
  • You’ll have some experience in producing Search Audits and working with Sales to help win new business
  • You’ll be comfortable forecasting, budgeting and have some experience of using Bid Management platforms such as Kenshoo, DBM or Marin
  • You’ll be comfortable using data from a variety of data sources to inform reporting and derive insights to make planning decisions
  • You’ll be proficient in Excel, with experience with managing data using pivots, macros, etc.
  • You might have experience from an agency, client, or consulting environment but you’ll have a real passion for Search and the enthusiasm to help us scale this part of our business
  • You’ll be able to speak both German and English excellently, and an ability to speak French too would be really useful!
