Who Are You 

  • We're looking for a player-coach to come in and own responsibility for the Account Executive function of the company; helping to optimize the sales process, driving sales directly and coaching and hiring the team to execute it. 
  • We operate at an extremely fast pace and will expect the same from you. This position will require your full attention & constant communication with our team.
  • The Sales Manager directs, supports, and administers the selling of Rain’s products. The role includes the planning, recruiting, training, motivating, monitoring, and evaluating sales team members.
  • The fundamental role of the Sales Manager is to assist in developing and administering a selling program that will consistently deliver the growth objectives of the company.

Responsibilities 

  • Manage account executives through their Rain careers, helping them achieve their goals and develop as sales professional
  • Organize and lead recurring team meetings
  • Optimize rep-specific sales funnels through analytics and identifying coaching opportunities within the data.
  • Roll up your sleeves through hands-on coaching, call shadowing, and role playing Lead all manner of performance conversations, including celebrating wins, holding team members accountable and giving difficult feedback to those who are not meeting expectations 
  • Remove roadblocks from your team through tactics ranging from technical automation to closing knowledge gaps, and improving cross-functional processes
  • Shape evolution of Rain’s new customer acquisition strategy as member of Sales Leadership team
  • Drive cross functional collaboration with Onboarding and Client Success, among other internal stakeholders

Requirements 

  • 5+ years of B2B Enterprise sales experience preferably in Fintech or selling into HR Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or related experience equivalent
  • Established track record of exceeding quote targets at recent/current employer Report weekly on health of the pipeline, wins/loss and progress against goals Update and manage pipeline and prepare revenue forecasts
  • Familiarity with sales tools -- HubSpot, Zoominfo, etc.

  • Drive Mid-Market & Enterprise sales with target customers across a range of verticals Generate a pipeline of new business from the ground up
  • Help develop and optimize an efficient and scalable sales process
  • This role is responsible for driving net new business
  • Work closely with leadership to develop the overall sales strategy
