The Role: 

The Director of Advertising Technical Integrations & Accounts is the main contact point for all technical questions and investigations with 3rd party advertising partners (SSP’s, DSP’s, DMP’s, and IVT Vendors). He/she will be the main liaison between internal Tron TV teams and 3rd party partners to maintain, diagnose and advise on all technical integrations and underlying issues. We’re looking for a highly motivated, creative and detail-oriented individual who enjoys troubleshooting and providing technical expertise for all advertising partners. 

The Great Things You Will Work On

  • IVT and Viewability management for key vendors including MOAT, IAS, DV, and WhiteOps
  • SSP integrations, including Tag, RTB and Header Bidding 
  • Designing technical solutions for DMPs, DSPs and SSPs integrations
  • Proactively implementing monitoring and debugging integrations
  • Understanding key business needs and integrations with data providers
  • Desktop app software integrations / distributed computing
  • Ad Serving for desktop, mobile app, and CTV
  • Cookie Syncing, Cookie Matching, UID best practices
  • Video Player Tech, DRM, Encryption, CMS, MRSS
  • Ad unit mix and optimization for viewability, yield, consumer experience / familiar with display and video 
  • Managing GDPR and CCPA work flows & vendors
  • Experience in crypto and blockchain a Plus

Experience You'll Need

  • 5-7 years + ad tech product and operations experience 
  • DSP and SSP integrations experience, or directly working for a DSP or SSP
  • Experience in diagnosing and working through issues with third-party technology vendors including DSPs, DMPs, and ad servers
  • Publisher ad tech experience Knowledge of Video Ad Serving Protocols (VAST, VPAID) and RTB protocols
  • Understanding of user identification mechanisms and processes (match table approaches, cookies, IFA, etc.)
  • Experience with some of the following; HTML, JavaScript, XML, Python, SQL, PHP, JSON, HTTP, cookies, REST, scripting languages.
  • Experience using various web debugging tools, such as Charles, Firebug, Fiddler, Chrome tools, etc
  • Understanding of the life cycle of a HTTP request
  • Complex problem solving skills
  • Direct experience working at or managing partnerships for IVT / Viewability
  • Good reputation and relationships across the ad tech industry
  • Deep knowledge and intellectual curiosity specific to ad tech
  • BA/BS Degree in business, and or engineering
