About the Role:

The Platforms Operations team owns the strategy, certification and the release of Qumulo’s Software on new OEM/ODM Platform designs, alongside ensuring all vendor related CSAT issues are reviewed, root caused and corrective actions are put in place in a timely manner. This role plays a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the underlying infrastructure that supports various software applications and services within an organization. Responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining the infrastructure and systems that support the organization's applications and services. This includes hardware, software, networks, and other components essential for a robust and scalable platform.

Responsibilities

  • Support New Product Introduction and prototyping activities for Scale-Anywhere platforms at OEMs/ODMs : On-prem and Edge  
  • Provide technical support to resolve platform-related issues. Act as escalations point of contact for all vendor/OEM/ODM issues in the field
  • Ownership around transfer of internal test processes to vendors/system integrators ensuring Qumulo’s Data Storage standards with respect to component reliability and performance are upheld
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures. Write detailed technical documents including test plans and functional specifications of hardware
  • Work with contract manufacturers and component suppliers to drive field technical issues to closure and corrective action implementations
  • Generate fleet impact reports and actionable insights from machine logs and structured hardware metrics data
  • Debug electronics hardware with an analytical approach 

Minimum Role Requirements

  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in EE, CS, CE or Networking Engineering; or equivalent work experience. 
  • Experience in Enterprise Storage Systems preferred; including but not limited to, working knowledge of key components such as motherboards, SSDs, HDDs, CPUs, and Networking switches. Experience working with contract manufacturer is a plus. 
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are a must
  • Familiarity with networking protocols and security principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of Product Life Cycle Management systems such as SAP/Agile/Arena/Oracle is a plus
  • Knowledge of Python/ Linux/ Unix, SQL and/or AWS S3 preferred
  • Must be able to travel 20% in the quarter to support NPI/Sustaining activities/CS installs 

Key Benefits

The annual pay range for the role is USD $102,000 - $142,000. 

Individual pay depends on various factors, such as role level, relevant experience and skills, and location. Pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the pay range applicable at the time.
