About the Position:

As an Associate Territory Manager at Qumulo, you will play a critical role in supporting our experienced Territory Account Managers (TAMs) with a primary focus on generating incremental sales through our key strategic partnerships. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in the enterprise sales industry, develop your technical knowledge, and build a rewarding career with a high-growth company. In this role, you will also serve as a key advisor to the Regional Sales Director, providing insights and analysis to inform strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive incremental sales with our key strategic partners (Primary Focus)
  • Collaborate with partners to develop joint sales and marketing initiatives
  • Provide insights and analysis to the Regional Sales Director to support strategic decision-making
  • Assist TAMs with prospecting and qualifying new leads within the partner ecosystem
  • Conduct in-depth research on assigned accounts, market trends, and partner capabilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partner contacts
  • Plan and execute lead generation events with key partners
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned partner portfolio
  • Prepare compelling sales presentations and proposals that highlight the value proposition of Qumulo solutions for partners and their customers
  • Participate in customer meetings and calls with partners, taking detailed notes and action items
  • Support TAMs with post-sales activities, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving renewals through our partners
  • Gather and analyze customer and partner data to identify sales opportunities and inform future strategies

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a sales or business development role (experience working with channel partners a plus)
  • A strong understanding of B2B sales methodologies and sales cycles
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • A collaborative team player with a positive and results-oriented attitude
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM platforms
  • This role is based in Southern California. While there are opportunities to work remotely in this role, travel to Orange County, Los Angeles and San Diego will be expected. 

Bonus points for:

  • Experience in the enterprise storage or data management industry
  • Knowledge of Qumulo solutions and the competitive landscape
  • A track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Experience working with channel partners and developing successful partner programs
  • Experience planning and executing lead generation events
  • Experience providing strategic analysis to senior leadership

Key Benefits

The annual pay range for the role is USD $145,000 - $200,000. This role has the opportunity to earn variable incentive compensation depending on the terms of the applicable plan

Individual pay depends on various factors, such as role level, relevant experience and skills, and location. Pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the pay range applicable at the time.
