We are seeking a Director of Content, Brand & Digital. A highly motivated individual with a passion for content strategy and community engagement to drive our content strategy across organic and digital, inclusive of social, consumer blog and provider newsletter, and digital content, including the app and web. You will be the advocate for our community, driving engagement and experiences through a multichannel approach using innovative community building tactics! You will use a data-driven approach to build immersive, creative and engaging content and experiences for our members, existing and potential.

This is a unique opportunity within quip to shape our overall communications strategy and consumer engagement. The right candidate can plan longer-term content strategy but react nimbly as new opportunities arise. We want that great balance between pushing great content and also leveraging data to drive decisions and show impact for our users.  Must possess a keen marketing / consumer curiosity and desire to inspire and motivate people to build stronger and healthier oral care habits. This is a hands-on content development role that needs strong leadership skills, a passion for content and the ability to inspire great creative to grow and engage our community.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead quip’s Community and Content strategy and team to develop motivating and fun content to increase engagement, retention and new user adoption
  • Develop a plan for engaging content development across channels and socialize through an integrated calendar of social content that drives our brand and product narratives forward through entertaining and educational content
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers, and data scientists to ensure the community voice is heard across all product, creative and marketing to ensure our community feels recognized and has the most inclusive, thoughtful and meaningful experience possible
  • Infuse the quip brand tone and voice throughout the quip Content and Community platforms for both consumers, providers, and partners
  • Help design the necessary experiences to enable us to onboard and retain our audiences and strengthen our communities
  • Invent new content templates that prompt content creators to engage deeply while providing valuable consumer insights to the broader team
  • Apply audience research, data, cultural trends through the quip lens to develop and iterate with new technologies, creative approaches, and partners
  • Find ways to innovate and activate our communities, turning members into evangelists
  • Report on and analyze results, and make recommendations on internal processes to ensure our programs are efficient and effective.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years experience in content, social and brand marketing and communications with proven results. Experience in SEO strategy preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, communications, public relations or a related field. Graduate degree preferred. 
  • Excellent relationship-building and collaboration techniques with cross-functional groups at a dynamic, fast-paced company.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to details
  • Proven ability to lead a multidisciplinary team
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly adaptable and always looking for culturally relevant opportunities to engage with our community members to balance both evergreen content and timely content
  • Quantitative skills to analyze and assess the success and iterate
  • Thorough understanding of digital strategy, social platforms, and content creation.
  • Ability to work and achieve success in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.
