Position

The Manager position offers a unique opportunity for someone passionate about applying their technical and management experiences to enhance educational programs and contribute to the growth of a far-reaching entrepreneurial social venture. Reporting to the Managing Director of Data & Engineering, this person will manage projects and people, and execute on operations and initiatives, often working across multiple teams at QuestBridge.

Our Manager will have the opportunity to collaborate with program, data, and engineering team members across other departments for thought partnership, feedback, and growth. This position requires a strong focus on rigor, communication, project management, and systems-thinking. Responsibilities

Success in this role is defined by achieving the following:

  • Develop and maintain current and new software applications used to improve the operation of
    all of our teams at QuestBridge in our work with students, partners, and
    educators
  • Collaborate across all QuestBridge teams to identify opportunities for automation
    and more efficient use of technology in operations
  • Manage relationship between IT support provider and team members
  • Manage network server services
  • Strong belief in the goals and mission of QuestBridge.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, but able to maintain focus on larger picture
  • Strong work ethic, with intense drive to reach goals and contribute to the success
    of the organization
  • Entrepreneurial, creative, dynamic
  • Energized by working with a revenue-generating social venture in an expansion phase

Minimum Qualifications

  • Relevant work experience and in a management role of at least 5 years
  • Demonstrated experience working in a centralized role that requires
    collaboration with many teams across a given organization
  • Demonstrated experience with Python and SQL
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with ability to maintain focus on the larger
    picture
  • Strong written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects from start to finish (organizing bandwidth, workflows, and multiple deliverables for on-time delivery) in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, quantitative field or equivalent experience
  • Experience using CRM platforms and applications

Salary

$154,000-$185,000

Hours and Location

This is a full-time position remote within the US. Employees will be expected to be engaged online and travel approximately once per quarter.
