Qubit is looking for an events manager to join our growing marketing team in New York. We need a passionate marketing and events professional to help turn our marketing ideas into meaningful events. You’ll ideally be experienced working in the digital sector and be looking for a new challenge working at one of New York’s fastest-growing start-ups. As a key member of the team you will have a chance to work across a great mix of well known brands. We're looking for an efficient, proactive personality, with an eye for detail.

What you’ll do:

  • Pioneering the Qubit brand with memorable, eye-catching and impactful industry events across North America (East, West and Central regions) - eTail, Shop.org, National Retail Federation. This could be anything from exhibitions, speaking events, partner events to roundtables

  • Coordinating the events program with all involved teams, from Sales to Marketing and Client Services to our Executive team

  • Owning our Qubit branded events, from our insightful webinars to our industry standout Bright Sparks series: Qubitbrightsparks.com

  • Running all associated budgets, timelines, content, promotion (CRM, invites) and the day to day running of all events

  • Working with 3rd party agencies to manage sponsorship and exhibition space, booth build, construction and managing attendees and sales enablement. 

What you'll need:
  • A university education, with a record of strong achievement.

  • 2 - 4  years of experience running exceptional and innovative events in the technology industry, that broke the mould and delivered the required value.

  • Experience working within a marketing team and partnering closely with sales on analysing and tracking ROI on event lead generation. 
  • Experience writing copy for event promotional materials and other collateral. 
  • Organisational skills - you’ll be passionate about detail, making sure that everything runs smoothly, on time and in budget.

  • Proactivity - We’ll be placing a lot of trust in you to make sure that our events program is conceived, arranged and delivered - so you’ll need to be able to hit the ground running.

  • Ability to travel - Our events will be run across North America, so you’ll be comfortable managing the associated travel requirements.
