We are looking to hire a strategic leader for our Program Management function. You will lead a team of technical program managers and collaborate cross-functionally to drive and enable software delivery across product portfolios.
You will be accountable for delivery enablement, optimizing the product development lifecycle across our portfolio of work. Your team will also drive client delivery of our most significant efforts. And you will be right at the center of collaboration across Engineering, Product, and other business areas, demonstrating excellent people skills and stakeholder management.
Your day-to-day:
- Develop the vision for our Program Management function and the plan to get there, working with key stakeholders to define the right org shape, roles, and responsibilities, as well as how to measure success
- Develop and grow your team to collaborate effectively with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders, leveraging sufficient functional and technical knowledge to drive efficient solution development
- Grow and champion modern practices for rapid software delivery across an array of client types
- Practice effective change management as you learn about solution development challenges, define improvements, and gain adoption
- Get your hands dirty managing specific projects/programs as needed
- Foster team engagement across a diverse, distributed team
About you:
- Substantial experience leading the program management function for digital product companies, including definition of vision, strategy, working model, team member development, and collaboration model
- Experience helping build the process for cross-functional product development teams (we call them Pods)
- Combination of technical and business knowledge to enable success across a range of programs
- History of delivering complex projects that span several months in duration
- Demonstrated experience in working with stakeholders to juggle resources and project priorities to ensure success
- Thought leader who understands the nuances of software development and delivery who brings new ideas forward
- Experience driving projects to optimize solution development, e.g. cloud migration, CI/CD, release process improvement, etc., and balancing those with roadmap delivery
- Expert communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience developing a world-class team

- Consumer-facing and B2B software experience
- Experience implementing an array of agile methodologies
Salary: $300,000 to $425,000*
*Please note that the final salary offered will be determined based on the selected candidate's skills, and experience, as well as the internal salary structure at Quanata. Our aim is to offer a competitive and equitable compensation package that reflects the candidate's expertise and contributions to our organization.

- Location: We are a remote-first company for most positions so you may work from anywhere you like in the U.S, excluding U.S. territories. Occasional travel may be required for team meetings or company gatherings. Employees based in the San Francisco Bay Area or in Providence, Rhode Island may commute to one of our local offices as desired.
- Hours: We maintain core meeting hours from 9AM - 3PM Pacific time for collaborating with team members across all time zones.
