Public Sector Solution Strategist

Job Description 

  • Work with our sales team during the pre-sales process to propose XM programs that help our prospective education clients meet their business objectives

  • Provide post-sale consulting support to customers, this may include survey/assessment design, change management consulting, post-survey data analysis and interpretation, executive presentations, action planning consulting

  • Work with the public sector industry team to generate and implement the go-to-market strategy for XM in the public sector

    • Develop and implement product positioning, messaging and strategies to pursue aggressive growth goals for the public sector industry across the 4 XM pillars - Customer, Employee, Product, and Brand

    • Understand the competitive landscape and identify strategic opportunities and threats while staying current on market trends within public sector

  • Develop thought leadership content, including academic and practitioner articles, joint publications, podcasts, conference presentations or webinars



  • Graduate degree, preferably in a related field (e.g. Public Policy, Business, Social Sciences, Economics, Statistics, etc.)

  • Experience working in or with the US federal government

  • Experience implementing or consulting on the design of Experience Management (XM) Programs - Employee or Customer

  • A strong knowledge of survey/assessment design, getting PRA clearance for government surveys, change management consulting, and data analysis 

  • A strong understanding of U.S. political processes, including the roles and decision-making processes of the Executive and Legislative branches at both the federal and state level

  • Demonstrated ability to persuasively communicate complex concepts at the highest level of government and academic circles

  • Travel expectations around 25%


  • Public service work in state or federal government offices

  • Experience in the technology industry, especially SaaS
