About the Role:

Quadrant Strategies is a research driven consultancy made up of  strategists who use custom market research to help the world’s most prominent companies navigate their most pressing challenges. We take a different approach to research: a clear strategy, and concrete narrative for how to get there, backed by research findings – as opposed to a 100-slide deck of charts and graphs and no POV. We pride ourselves on helping our clients meet their challenges, not just giving them data and quotes.

As a business, we’ve grown significantly since our founding in 2015 and now have a team of over 150 incredibly talented individuals. This growth has included expanding our presence domestically and internationally, increasing our headcount year over year to support growing client work. 

With this role, we aim to bring on an exceptional leader who is a skilled consultant, has a deep understanding of public policy, public affairs, messaging & communications, and overall brand strategy. This person will be able to lead a team and an exciting book of business with top-tier clients. 

When will I start? Where will I be located?

We are ready to bring on the right person as soon as we find them. You’ll be based in one of our US offices (Washington D.C., New York City, Dallas, or Los Angeles) where we’ll staff a team to work under you locally or across our other offices.

Who will I report to?

You will report to a seasoned Partner or Principal.  

Who will report to me?

You will have a team of direct reports proportional to the size of the business you manage. Our Vice Presidents, Principals, and Partners manage teams anywhere from 3 to 20.

What will I do?

We are looking for a leader who can lead a substantial book of business in their first year. We expect Vice Presidents to organically grow the accounts they manage and encourage bringing in new clients as well. 

In addition to building your client roster and working your consulting skills, you will contribute to the growth of our company culture by leading your team, nurturing their development, and  participating in the firm’s Leadership committee.

What will I make?

We believe that leaders should be compensated based on their work, and more importantly, be able to clearly understand the path to increasing their compensation over time. We offer a transparent and lucrative compensation package that includes a base salary and a generous share of profitability based on the book of business you manage and/or originate.We are happy to share the details of this model with candidates during our first conversation.

What are the requirements?

We expect that the idea candidate will:

  • Avoid a cookie-cutter approach to research and client engagements; rather use creative thinking to  generate and communicate insights and develop strategic solutions.
  • Be confident and knowledgeable, and bring additional areas of expertise to grow the capabilities of the firm.
  • Deliver truly impactful advice rooted in research, and have clients that have followed them in the past and would want to follow them again.

From a cultural and personal standpoint, this person will:

  • Be both entrepreneurial and collaborative – to push the company to grow while also managing their team and clients.
  • Prioritize diversity and inclusion, both for the betterment of the work product and the firm’s growth.
  • Be a firmwide leader, serving as a mentor to junior employees. 

Quadrant’s headquarters is in Washington, DC, but we have offices in New York City, Dallas, London and Belgrade. Employees may request to work from any of our offices, pending approval based on office availability and an employee’s work authorization status. Our offices are open on a hybrid work model, with employees working in-office at least three days a week. 

Compensation and benefits are competitive. All candidates must be authorized to work in the country where their home office is located.
