As a member of our Human Resources team, you will collaborate with our Human Resources Manager and Talent Acquisition Manager while reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer. Ideally, you are interested in learning the business and departments within our firm and are dedicated to helping us build great teams. You will apply creative problem-solving to address employee needs. You strive for excellence and are collaborative, intellectually curious, and have a high attention to detail. 

Benefits (50%) 

  • Act as resource to employees for benefit related questions, with the support of the broader HR team. 
  • Manage benefits administration by participating in annual benefits renewal and open enrollment process. You will be involved in the communications and own the enrollment and status changes throughout the year. 
  • Ensure employee data and changes are current and accurately reflected in benefit spreadsheets and benefits changes are entered timely and accurately for Finance to process payroll deductions 
  • Reconcile benefit invoices to ensure that Finance can process payments and fulfill audit requirements. 

Generalist Projects (30%) 

  • Maintain employee data and documentation, in various systems including BambooHR, Lattice, Paychex, and E-verify. 
  • Research employee programs and vendors. 
  • Coordinate leave of absence requests and associated documentation. 
  • Maintain the data integrity of the HRIS and prepare associated reports and dashboard data as needed. 

Recruiting and Onboarding (20%) 

  • Facilitate the orientation and onboarding of new team members. Ensure a seamless process leveraging BambooHR. 
  • Manage and coordinate our annual summer internship program.  
  • Assist in managing social media content (e.g. Glassdoor, LinkedIN).  
  • Provide backup support to coordinating and scheduling interviews via Greenhouse Applicant Tracking System. 
  • May assist the Talent Acquisition Manager in managing full lifecycle recruitment for entry-level and temp positions and intern classes.

Note: We are currently working in a hybrid environment with 4 days in the office and 1 day remote. You will also have an additional 15 days of remote flexibility that can be used at your discretion.   

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 2-5+ years of relevant human resources and/or benefits experience 
  • High attention to detail 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel functions for efficient data management (Pivot Tables and V Lookup) 

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 USD Annually  

The actual base salary may vary depending on factors, including, but not limited to location, work experience, education, training, skill level, and market conditions. At Pzena Investment Management, base salary is just one component of the total compensation, which may include, year-end discretionary bonus and employee benefits.
