About the Role

The primary expectation of someone in this role is to apply technical expertise to solve against business requirements and ambiguous problems. As a Senior Salesforce Administrator on our Business Operations team, you will be responsible for translating business objectives and requirements into functional solutions by leveraging advanced Flows, and working with developers to design and test Apex, Lightning, and Visualforce solutions. You will join a team of 20+ experts - administrators and developers, as well as project managers and senior leaders that come from hands-on technical backgrounds.

    • CO: $91,800 - $106,080
    • WA: $103,145  - $119,190

Compensation ranges are determined by role and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the pay range for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

What You’ll Do

  • Scaling internal systems to support large sales and customer service teams; ensure core systems are built for scale and delivery of key insights
  • Day-to-day stewardship of Salesforce and integrated systems
  • Partner with project managers and analysts to drive efficiency through tooling and business process automation; expertise in translating business requirements into system workflow
  • Produce solutions that is easy for frontline staff to use, scales for the future, and uses system resources efficiently
  • Create reporting for monitoring expected behavior, identifying exceptions, and solutioning against business requirements
  • Review business requirements against current architecture and configure Salesforce.com and related systems according to those requirements
  • Recommend correct solution approach to align with core business architecture and objectives 
  • Design and develop technical solutions based on existing technologies
  • Define framework for documentation and testing requirements/test data
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and identify areas for process improvements/automation
  • Determine technical and functional dependencies for large projects
  • Prioritize daily and weekly tasks effectively; balance multiple priorities working in sprints in collaboration with a team
  • Provide Salesforce expertise to junior Salesforce Administrators on systems development
  • Provide Salesforce expertise to business leadership when process and system questions arise
  • Identify and address bugs and errors and define approaches to limit the possibility of a similar error happening again
  • Enable business velocity by troubleshooting system errors impacting prospects and customers in near-real-time
  • Advocate for work you perceive as important
  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of Salesforce.com Administration
  • Salesforce.com Administrator and Advanced Administrator Certifications
  • Experience manipulating and moving data, such as with Data Loader or DemandTools
  • Experience with 5-7 Salesforce integrated tools such as: DocuSign, DrawLoop, Marketo, Zuora
  • Experience with Salesforce Communities and Lightning components
  • Experience with any of the following tools is a nice-to-have: Confluence, JIRA, Visual Studio
  • Analytical thinker, problem solver with the ability to operate in ambiguity
  • Clear and timely communication using multiple platforms, such as JIRA, email, and Slack 
  • Clear verbal and written communication, especially about technical problems
