In 2015, Pure Storage established Pure1 as a new product unit to provide its customer base with cloud-based fleet management and predictive support solutions. With the ever-growing focus on subscription services and as-a-Service offerings, we rebranded ourselves to Digital Experience (DX) in 2021. In Digital Experience, our goal is to deliver the ultimate in fleet management simplicity. In the last four years, Pure1 has consistently extended its services and now provides full-stack analytics and AI-driven predictive intelligence through a SaaS-based business model. Pure1 enables the customer’s journey to the hybrid cloud by offering a single pane of glass to manage data assets on-prem and in the public cloud. In addition to that, we are offering a variety of as-a-Service solutions to solve modern customer needs. Services developed in DX form the unifying manageability and intelligence layer on top of all Pure products - FlashArray, FlashBlade, Portworx and more to come. It is the nexus of our promise of a simple customer experience, providing insights and tools to help make our customers’ lives better. 

Pure Storage is looking for a passionate Senior Product Manager of Reverse Logistics and Remanufacturing business enablement to drive the success of our remanufacturing business by taking full ownership of the our remanufacturing business enablement through the company operational processes. This role is critical to ensuring the supply of remanufacturable assets and driving continuous improvement in compliance, tracking, and efficiency. You will own the numbers, develop scalable programs, and work cross-functionally to ensure reverse logistics and supply management meet our strategic goals.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING...

1. End-to-End Ownership of Reverse Logistics

  • Take full responsibility for the alignment of functions supporting the remanufacturing business - professional services, service partners, reverse logistics, and remanufacturing operations.
  • Oversee all aspects of asset recovery, including tracking, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Define and monitor key metrics (e.g., return rates, cycle times) and ensure clear visibility to leadership.

2. Develop and Document Scalable Programs

  • Build and document scalable programs that enhance supply chain efficiency, focusing on reverse logistics and remanufacturing workflows.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to design processes that maximize asset recovery and minimize waste.
  • Lead initiatives to create contractual structures, incentives, and credits to improve returns and supply opportunities.

3. Process Improvement

  • Implement solutions to address inefficiencies in the company-wide process workflows that impact reverse logistics.
  • Collaborate with Re-Manufacturing Operations, Professional Services (PS), service partners, and Engineering to align workflows with business goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the remanufacturing supply process.

4. Data-Driven Accountability

  • Manage reverse logistics data to generate actionable insights and performance metrics.
  • Implement and maintain dashboards to track compliance, identify trends, and inform decision-making.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Reporting

  • Act as a central point of contact for reverse logistics, liaising with stakeholders across product, operations, and engineering teams.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on program performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the transition from manual tracking processes to automation, ensuring scalability.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

Technical Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in reverse logistics, supply chain, or operations management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data and build reporting systems.
  • Familiarity with reverse logistics and IT asset recovery practices is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with operational tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau) and process management platforms.

Soft Skills

  • Proven track record of taking ownership and delivering measurable results.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work across teams and influence without authority.
  • Strong problem-solving and process optimization abilities.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while delivering on program goals.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience in IT asset disposition (ITAD) or circular economy initiatives.
  • Familiarity with automation and process optimization tools.
  • We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

The annual base salary range is: $190,000 – $230,000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
