RESPONSIBILITY

Working closely with sales, marketing, finance, business units and many other functions across the company we provide business critical insights, ensure cross functional alignment, and help teams to define and roll out new initiatives.

  • Using external and internal data sources for market analysis and projections
  • Maintaining and updating internal tools and models
  • Developing frameworks and performing the quantitative and qualitative analysis of core strategic issues
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across multiple projects and work streams to develop and validate business models and projections
  • Working on strategic initiatives and analytic deep dives spanning across most aspects of Pure’s business and operations
  • Supporting the company wide strategic planning process
  • Communicating ideas and concepts in a clear and concise manner to internal and external customers.
  • Fostering open communication between individuals and teams, co-operation across departments.
  • Successfully presenting status updates to management staff.
  • Knowing when to expedite issues and provide alternate solutions as part of issue escalation.
  • Must be willing and able to work in an open office, team environment. 
  • You will be based in Bangalore, India. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 3 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (MBA desired)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in strategic planning, business development, investment banking, market research, management consulting or similar roles at a multinational company
  • Hands-on analytical mindset and quantitative focus passionate about analyzing and synthesizing business metrics and raw data to distill performance trends and business insights for executive decision-making; expertise in statistical modeling a plus
  • Strong, authentic communication and “story-telling” skills, particularly to executive management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, work well under pressure and adapt quickly to change.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, project management, and financial modeling abilities.
  • Self-motivated curiosity, sense of urgency, ability to pivot seamlessly between big picture and fine level granularity, and relentless focus on outcomes not activity
  • Ability to develop and defend your own point of view in discussions with your project team and stakeholders
  • Ability to work well with cross functional teams and handle high levels of ambiguity
  • Readiness for a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, priority changes and multiple constituencies
  • Ability to build models in Excel and analyze large data tables, Tableau / PowerBI power user
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
