Senior Director Theatre Ops – International
The Senior Director of Theatre Operations - International will work directly with the International Sales VP/GM and Global Accounts Sales VP (Sales VP’s) to support our Pure Storage Sales Teams in providing timely and accurate analytics to help them manage the team’s selling efforts. The Senior Director of Theatre Ops will assist the Sales VP’s, Sales Management, and Sales Teams in providing accurate forecasting, pipeline and results reporting.
This is a fast-paced and constantly evolving sales environment that requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task and work under and towards a deadline. The Theatre Ops leader will possess superb analytical skills and the ability to work as a team, not only with all-levels within the Sales Team but also cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Finance, Accounting, Commission, HR, Operations, and Legal teams, etc.
Responsibilities
- Role will report to WW Theatre Ops Leader
- Work directly with the Sales VP’s to achieve sales goals by providing timely sales analytics such as weekly forecast, pipeline, and headcount reports; trending and performance analyses
- Work directly with the Sales VP’s to identify problem areas within their organisation, identify stakeholders and work cross-functionally to find resolution
- Work directly with Sales management team, product marketing, data science, and marketing teams to develop demand generation programs for both installed base and new customer acquisition and track/report effectiveness
- Work closely with Sales VP’s on account planning/performance analysis
- Support Sales Management and Sales teams on account and deal reviews
- Work closely with Business Optimisation team on deal desk and pricing requests, proposal development, gross margin analysis
- Work closely with Sales Ops team to assist sales teams on all reporting and system requirements
- Work closely with other Theatre Ops Leaders to share knowledge, best practices and facilitate standardisation across the whole sales organisation
- Coordinate with Finance, Commission, and Compensation teams to resolve any sales compensation issues and queries
- Work closely with Sales Management and Finance team to manage Travel & Entertainment Expenses (T&E) to drive efficiency and accountability
- Coordinate with Sales Ops, Finance, and Facilities teams to help manage facilities requirement and planning
- Work directly with Sales VP’s on annual sales planning including sales rep productivity analysis; capacity and quota analysis and assignment; territory planning and assignment; headcount planning; growth investments; segmentation analysis
- Work closely with Sales VP’s on QBR planning, scheduling, material preparation
- Support the end-of-quarter sales effort by assisting in driving all sales orders and approvals through internal processing
- Work closely with Finance, Accounting, and Operations teams to manage order process and management to meet audit and compliance requirements
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- 7+ years experience in a Sales Operations, Finance or other analytical role
- Bachelor’s degree in business or finance (completed or in process MBA preferred)
- Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
- Excellent Excel, SFDC, Tableau skills
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- Strong proven ability and experience in working cross-functionally
- Must be eligible to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
- Must have a ‘can do’ and self-starter attitude and have an internal strong sense of urgency
