SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE YOU WILL:

  • Be the subject matter expert and primary functional resource for expense related systems, processes, and programs
  • Recommend and establish expense report processing in line with industry best practices
  • Ensure audits and email communications via the company’s auditing tool are completed timely and recommend improvements
  • Monitors and approves expense reports in accordance with company policies
  • Recommend enhancements to existing controls to reduce the risk of fraud, duplicate reimbursements and inefficient processes/controls
  • Ensure controls are in place and consistently applied in line with recommended internal SOX practices
  • Ensure system meets applicable taxation and legal requirements in numerous countries 
  • Design and develop expense related metrics and reports to inform and influence the decisions of business leaders
  • Collaborate across the company regularly to ensure alignment, transparency, and systems integration
  • Develop and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Facilitate live training sessions and webinars to train employees on policies, tools, and resources
  • Provide excellent customer service 
  • Stay up-to-date on the current state of expense technology and be aware of major changes that impact the marketplace or expense programs in general 
  • Identify problems or inconsistencies in the tools and develop appropriate recommendations for resolution
  • Seek opportunities for synergy, improvement, simplification and automation of existing processes and reporting across expense related expenditures and pursue continuous process improvement
  • Create detailed plans for configuration changes/enhancements and test thoroughly for accuracy before moving to production 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field or relevant experience
  • Experience with data analysis and data flows
  • Strong project management skills
  • Working knowledge of financial data, budgets, and analysis
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • 3+ years experience with Concur’s configuration, Intelligence Reporting, and administration
  • Expert level skills with Google Suite
  • Strong skills creating process flows
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Oversight, Conferma, and ERP tools preferred
  • Working knowledge and understanding of internal controls and SOX
  • Strong detail-orientation, organizational and time management skills
  • Experience understanding and documenting technical requirements and appropriate solutions
  • Experience with legislation and taxation in multiple countries around expense reimbursements
  • Sound judgment and the ability to make decisions related to corporate policies and handle sensitive information
