We are seeking enthusiastic software engineers to build new architecture for support diagnostics on customer FlashBlade systems. 

What You Will Be Doing

We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineering Manager to manage a team of FlashBlade Software Engineers in addition: -

  • Design and implement a new architecture for support diagnostics on customer FlashBlade systems.
  • Work with other Engineering teams to develop APIs to accelerate diagnostics on our 600+ compute unit distributed systems with a goal of 30 seconds or less.
  • Responsible for functional excellence, process enhancements and ownership of and execution of strategic vision for the team
  • Coalesce FlashBlade product signals generated from support diagnostic tools developed by your team, and drive appropriate product changes and improvements within engineering.
  • Identify up leveling and knowledge transfer opportunities for overall development of your Software Engineering team.
  • Actively engaged on highly escalated issues with executive visibility.

 

What You Bring To The Team

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a software development management role
  • Knowledge of enterprise storage, networking, security, and distributed systems desired
  • Proven ability to broker effective forward momentum in challenging environments
  • Experience working with and supporting Fortune 500 companies
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage projects and communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Motivated by the challenges and rewards of a dynamic, fast-moving company
  • Able to multi-task and perform well under pressure
  • Fast, efficient, and tenacious in solving technical problems
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Prefer environments valuing individual initiative
