A strong candidate should be familiar with a variety of sales, marketing and operational concepts, practices, and procedures. They will have freedom to perform a variety of tasks and be a part of building a growing team in an exciting fast-growth company. A wide degree of creativity, accountability and ownership is expected.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead a team of Corporate Account Executives (CAEs)
  • Have the responsibility for Employee Evaluation and Staffing for CAEs
  • Manage Team performance against quotas and sales forecasts, executes operating plans and ensures sales objectives are met
  • Drives new opportunities and revenue/pipeline growth through consistently achieving individual and team quotas
  • Monitors daily activity of CAEs including outbound calls, targeting specific customers to achieve objectives and managing sales support activities
  • Conduct weekly 1-1 and team meetings to maintain consistent communication and collaboration with each team member
  • Coach and plan activity for a diverse approach to customer prospecting ranging from marketing follow up, sales AE engagement and channel teaming
  • Establish and report on metrics to measure performance of the inside sales activities; correct deficiencies where necessary
  • Collaborates with regional field sales employees on territory planning and execution
  • Train new hires and provide coaching and mentoring to direct reports


  • One to three (1-3) years of inside sales management or supervisory experience in the storage or high tech industry
  • Demonstrated experience building, training, managing, growing and developing a inside sales team and/or cross functional territory
  • Proven track record of successful selling as an inside sales representative
  • Demonstrated knowledge of different sales methodologies, technologies and customer relationship management (CRM) systems: SalesForce ,,
  • Knowledge of virtualization technology, database and deep understanding storage preferred
  • Experience with Channel Sales a plus
