Pure Storage is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager of Learning and Development to join our dynamic and visionary corporate learning and development team that is leading the way with strategic programs that set our employees, leaders and business up for success by driving a growth mindset culture, visionary leadership, and operational excellence. 

The global Talent Management team is looking to bring on a highly skilled Senior Learning & Development Manager who enjoys building new solutions and driving the design and improvement of global learning & development programs. Through assessment, design, development, delivery and management of Learning & Development solutions, you will help to drive Pure’s transformation, sustainable growth and engagement of our team of 4,500+ (and growing) diverse global employees. You will partner with the team in building and delivering Pure’s key talent initiatives such as Pure’s Leadership Academy, upskilling learning programs, coaching, assessments and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) curriculum. This role reports directly into the head of Pure’s corporate Learning and Development team and will be part of the broader Talent Management Center of Excellence. You’ll be part of an inclusive and engaging working environment and will collaborate extensively with other Talent Management and HR team members, business stakeholders, and external vendors and partners.

Qualifications: 

  • 10+ years of experience in L&D or consulting with increasing responsibility in a global, fast paced and constantly changing business environment 
  • Master’s/ Bachelor’s degree in HR, Adult Learning, Organizational Psychology, Economics or Business with a passion for people development and DEI
  • Experience architecting and implementing global leadership and DEI programs 
  • Demonstrated skill in virtual and in-person facilitation for a variety of audiences
  • Expertise in instructional design methodologies and applications (experience in Adobe Captivate and SnagIt are a plus) 
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a global environment
  • Experience working with global external training, consulting and coaching providers 
  • Strategic and tactical project management, communication, influencing and analytical skills
  • Organized and exceptional attention to detail
  • Able to successfully juggle multiple projects and work with different levels of stakeholders
  • Comfort dealing with ambiguity

Preferred:

  • Industry certifications in Executive Coaching, Zenger-Folkman, Insights, Prosci and other leadership and talent assessments 
  • Experience working with various LMS/HR systems (e.g., Workday, LinkedIn Learning) and Zoom for virtual workshops and events 
  • Technical aptitude to be able to quickly learn new technologies and develop various learning solutions.
  • Background in organizational change management
