Pure Storage’s Digital Demand Center strives to deliver a world-class digital demand engine that is optimized for building pipeline and growing revenue. We are looking for a highly collaborative, energetic and data-driven leader who has deep expertise in lead development strategies to help drive velocity through the funnel with demand programs and experiences that prioritize the customer while driving revenue.

The ideal candidate for this role is a resourceful and energetic leader with strong revenue marketing experience in a fast-paced, global B2B technology company who has the ability to balance strategic thinking with a roll-up-your-sleeves collaborative approach. This role requires someone who excels in demand generation, leverages data insights to inform priorities / strategies and excels in an environment where partnership and cross-functional teamwork are critical to success.

What You Will Do

You will have managed a Demand Center-like team at enterprise-scale, and have a proven track record of developing and executing impactful B2B marketing programs focused on growing net new logos as well as expanding our footprint with existing customers. You will lead a team hyper-focused on driving qualified interest into the marketing and sales funnels by identifying and nurturing prospects while accelerating velocity through the pipeline with the goal of influencing and driving revenue impact. 

Leveraging a “test, measure, and optimize” growth mindset and data insights, you will define the strategies and execution for scalable demand programs across multiple channels and regions to build a reliable and sustained contribution of marketing sourced pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow our demand generation engine with a cohesive strategy based on a “test and learn” philosophy and data-driven approach, focused on activating campaigns that increase Marketing’s contribution to deliver qualified leads to grow the sales pipeline and closed-won bookings. 
  • Based on program performance, provide strategic guidance to regional field marketing teams on industry best practices for demand tactics, optimal marketing mix, tools/software and strategies to scale outbound / inbound sales programs, sales enablement and playbooks.
  • Utilize data intelligence on prospects and customers, marketing attribution models, and continually analyze the effectiveness of all demand-generating marketing channels to determine and advise which efforts to scale or adjust.
  • Develop tactics targeting various personas to accelerate in-pipeline bookings and revenue expansion of existing customers. 
  • Strengthen our lead scoring as well as email and nurture programs - optimizing to expedite opportunity creation, pipeline acceleration, closed-won revenue.
  • Seamless flow of leads from activities into marketing automation systems and to sales/SDR team members to maximize pipeline generation and conversion.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • 10-15+ years of experience required with proven success within Revenue Marketing, Demand Generation, or Growth Marketing leadership roles. 
  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree/MBA preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of demand generation, operations, or sales development achievement and team leadership in a B2B tech, SaaS or subscription business.
  • Strong familiarity with demand generation best practices, industry trends and SiriusDecisions frameworks, including expertise in lead scoring models, marketing attribution, demand waterfall, etc.
  • Data-driven leader who leans heavily on KPI's and analysis to identify their next best action.
  • Exceptional proven collaboration with Sales and Marketing organizations. Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Strong familiarity with digital marketing, programmatic ABM, campaign frameworks, etc.
  • Excellent written communication skills and well- honed presentation skills.
