SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE…

The Pure Storage Global Systems Integrators Account Executive (GSI AE) is a senior level Business Development and Sales Leadership role, based in France with the need to work with key partners such as Atos, Capgemini, Kyndryl, and Sopra Steria.

The GSI AE will be working at the forefront of Pure’s global sales capability. The GSI business is a key growth engine for Pure and the GSI AE is the lead role in engaging our GSI clients in conversations about how Pure can support them as they drive Digital Transformation for their clients.

The GSI AE will be responsible for owning important and specific GSI relationships across the EMEA region.  The primary responsibility will be to generate and develop new business, but they will also be fully accountable for the health of the GSI relationship and growing existing Pure accounts with GSIs within their region.

The GSI AE will have outstanding existing relationships with the technology decision makers within the GSI community. They will also have a great grasp of IT industry trends, broad IT industry experience, commercial and business case skills and an all-round high degree of business acumen.

 

In this role you will: 

  • Show Evidence of relationships at the Pre-Sales, Delivery, Sales and Client Partner decision making level within one or more of Atos, Capgemini, Kyndryl (IBM Global Services), and Sopra Steria.  This person will be well known and respected by this community and have a strong understanding of the client’s business fundamentals and industry drivers.  They will also be accustomed to creating a value proposition and supporting business cases that are directly linked to a client’s business model and issues.
  • Demonstrate excellent sales and business development skills and a track record of leading IT Solution Pursuits, whether those be complex technology, consulting, IT services or Outsourcing engagements.
  • Be comfortable presenting to GSI account leaders, leading business case discussions, defining and driving close plans with their broader Pure sales and solution teams.  They will have outstanding communication, both written and oral, and be able to reduce complex ideas to simple terms and express these to both a non-technical and technical audience
  • Be expert and hungry to quickly learn new business models and drivers and will be able to articulate how Pure and the GSI can help them meet their goals
  • Evidence gravitas, authenticity and a desire to engage clients.  The GSI AE, will be comfortable quickly establishing themselves as a thought leader and trusted advisor with their client stakeholder and Pure.
  • Inspire/Ignite excitement internally and externally around the company's long-term vision and ability to execute against the market trend
  • Work collaboratively across the broader Pure Storage organisation
  • Always be driving for results, with a sense of accountability and ability to change pace and focus in dynamically-evolving hyper-competitive environment

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • You will be in an existing sales role either selling to, or within: Atos, Capgemini, Kyndryl (IBM Global Services), and Sopra Steria, and with a desire to be entrepreneurial and with a strong passion to make a difference.
  • You might be working at one of these GSIs today in the Technology, Digital, Cloud or Infrastructure space within these companies, or maybe you are an existing Sales professional within a Technology (hardware or software) company who is currently selling to the GSI’s
  • You will ideally have some existing relationships in these companies in EMEA today and be liked and respected and will be able to pick the phone up or meet with these stakeholders
  • You will have a track record of having developed business within these GSIs, showing how you have incorporated solutions into the GSI’s portfolio and supported their existing customers and new pursuits or have experience working with vendors to deliver this whilst working within a GSI.
  • Flexibility and ability to work across the EMEA region, remotely and in-person to support your key partners and collaborate internally in different EMEA countries.
  • Fluent business level English and French language skills
