Pure Storage is looking for an Account Executive for our growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) business. We are expanding our positioning and footprint in this growing market segment and this position is key to our growth.
 
As a motivated and self-directed professional who can operate successfully with limited strategic direction or guidelines, this is an excellent opportunity to be part of building a growing part of Pure’s business with our Partners.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage MSP partnerships in order to sell to and through these Partners
  • Identify and build relationships with key technical and economic buyers in Product Management, Operations, Service Delivery, Engineering and Sales
  • Build and execute a Sales Plan and revenue pipeline for key MSPs
  • Develop processes, go-to-market strategies and programs to capitalize on our joint strengths, brand awareness and future road-map
  • Develop short- and long-term business and technical strategies with the strategic partners.
  • Establishing a portfolio of Cloud solutions incorporating Pure’s portfolio.
  • Position Pure’s value to penetrate the current portfolio of Cloud Service Offerings as well as identify potential new Cloud Services and Offerings to jointly bring to market
  • Grow these strategies and programs alignment with Pure’s and MSP’s strategic objectives.
  • Evaluate and develop Cloud Solutions based on Pure’s Cloud portfolio
  • Explore and define joint offerings, assess routes to market and market segmentation alignment, business case development, contract oversight, GTM planning and execution, and driving Executive oversight and interlock between Pure and MSP to ensure optimal achievement and execution.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

Skills
  • Relationship driven with effective internal and external selling skills
  • Strong account Management, leadership, and influencing skills
  • Strong experience working with executives and technology teams internal and external
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills including presentation skills.
  • Mastery of target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques
  • Natural ability to work collaboratively with employees across all functions including Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, and Product Development.
  • Comprehension of how technology products and solutions solve business problems
  • Ability to communicate effortlessly with senior managers about their business challenges and Pure Storage’s Cloud solutions.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the competitive landscape
 
Qualifications and Experience
  • Account Management and Sales experience
  • Track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas for numerous and contiguous years.
  • 10+ years experience working in some combination with strategic business partners, technology alliances and large accounts.
  • 10+ years professional experience in Information Technology field.
  • Experience with Partner/Alliance Management, Project Management, Product Management.
  • Strong working knowledge of contemporary technologies surrounding digital transformation market trend, to include Cloud, SaaS/PaaS, DevOps, AI/ Deep Learning.
  • Experience using SFDC and other CRM software.
  • Cloud experience is highly desire.
  • Passion, Desire, and Global Mindset.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
