SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...
The Service Logistics Manager will primarily focus on managing the day to day and act as a liaison in North America to Pure Storage support and sales teams to drive corrective actions as needed for parts dispatches. The Service Logistics Manager should have a sense of customer support experience and must demonstrate and develop strong relationships across all supply chain functional organizations including: Logistics, Operations and Support. The ideal candidate will be a self-managed, customer oriented, and proactive individual.
⦁ 24X7 Escalations Management
⦁ Support projects to implement improvements and adjustments to 3PL related activities
⦁ Interact with vendors and peers in Customer Support, Manufacturing, Planning and Sales to optimize systems and procedures and resolve customer delivery related problems
⦁ Responsible for day to day decision making to ensure our partners meet and achieve SLA (Service Level Agreement)
⦁ Track and manage regional metrics for missed SLA’s
⦁ Processes & Training
⦁ Cross functional communication globally to ensure Service Level Agreements are met with external vendors (support, freight, etc.)
⦁ Act as regional point of contact for Pure Storage support and key business partners for questions regarding dispatches as they relate to parts and Field Engineers to customer sites.
⦁ Develop strong relationships across all supply chain functional organizations; Logistics, Planning, NPI (New Product Introduction), Operations, Support, and Engineering
⦁ Work with vendors to conduct Root Cause Corrective Action results for logistic field issues
⦁ Document best practices
⦁ Customer oriented and has a pro-active attitude
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
⦁ 10+ years of experience with Global Service Logistics
⦁ Strong attention to detail
⦁ Strong analytical skills
⦁ Manage, prioritize and work well with cross functional organizations
⦁ Enthusiastic and self-starter
⦁ Senior vendor management / communication skills
⦁ Project managements
⦁ Flexible working hours
⦁ Multilingual preferred but not required
⦁ Knowledge of Salesforce.com
⦁ Use of all Microsoft office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
⦁ Ability to travel
