Pulumi is looking for a Product Manager to join the Growth Team. The growth team is responsible for helping more people succeed with Pulumi. We’re focused on user growth, activation, monetization, and making improvements across the product to help enable a product-led flywheel for growth. In this role, you will partner with engineers, product marketers, sales and success to identify and execute on the biggest opportunities to solve customer needs and drive business impact. This role is a special opportunity for someone who enjoys sitting at the intersection of product and marketing; you’ll own the roadmap and execution of key product-led growth initiatives that will unlock remarkable experiences for current and future Pulumi users.

In This Job You Will:

  • Help identify big opportunities to move the needle on signups and active usage
  • Optimize user flows for signup, trial, onboarding and retention
  • Create a backlog for growth experiments, write user stories and manage releases
  • Plan and execute Growth Team sprints, maintaining a roadmap and shipping impactful changes 
  • Use experimentation and minimum viable products to learn quickly and make data-driven decisions
  • Synthesize a deep understanding of user needs leveraging quantitative and qualitative data
  • Translate analytics, data and user feedback into actionable product plans
  • Communicate and foster alignment for the growth strategy with cross functional teams, including product, ux, developer advocates, sales, etc.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Have:

  • Experience building software as a product manager, engineer or designer
  • Experience with product-led growth motions and go to market strategyS
  • Sufficient familiarity with programming, dev tools and cloud technologies to understand how customers build with Pulumi
  • Ability to analyze and use data to inform decision making, predict impact and measure success
  • Top notch project management skills and experience keeping a team on track for key milestones
  • Excellent interpersonal skills/diplomacy, with the ability to foster alignment across stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
