We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Nurses to join our client's healthcare teams. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others improve their mental health and wellbeing, and a commitment to patient-centred care.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assessing and planning nursing care requirements for patients with mental health conditions.
  • Providing personal care including administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and providing therapeutic treatments.
  • Working with patients’ families to educate them and the patient about their condition.
  • Coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports for legal actions.
  • Responding to emergencies, recognising and managing acute mental health crises.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree or Diploma in Nursing from a recognised institution.
  • Experience in mental health nursing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt treatment plans to individual patient needs.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
