An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join our fantastic NHS client’s acute care team based in London. This vacancy is available for the successful therapist to start as soon as possible, offering full time hours per week for an initial period of 3 months.

The successful individual would be expected work within an experienced Team involving Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Rehabilitation Assistants and be competent to provide Occupational therapy management for patients across the acute setting. The postholder will provide a specialised and up to date Occupational Therapy service in Acute Occupational Therapy with support to develop into a specialist area if they have a preference. Applying therapists should have previous experience working in an acute setting.

Skills and experience needed:

  • Previous experience within acute settings
  • Relevant degree/qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registration

Duties will include:

  • Care-coordinating
  • Attending MDT meetings
  • Contribute to the holistic assessment of physical and mental wellbeing needs.
  • Assessment and intervention of individual patients needs and progress.
  • Working with other healthcare professionals
