Pulse is working in partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) to recruit an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join their Cardiology team on a permanent basis. This role is open to practitioners with adult or paediatric experience within Cardiology.

We are looking for passionate individuals, who place the child, young person, and their families with congenital and acquired heart disease, at the centre of their care, based on safe, highly quality, and effective care provision and the use of clinical care pathways. GOSH is there to support your new vision & experience, to expand your professional and personal boundaries, learning, knowledge and skills.

Applicants who show a focus to develop their own evidence, in designated non-clinical time, for children, young people and families best clinical care.

GOSH has a well-established friendly team of ACP’s as part of a wider multiprofessional team across their children’s Cardiology services, their clinical care pathways for children, young people, & their families with congenital & acquired heart disease. 

This is a band 8a role, but we are also keen to hear from band 6+ applicants who meet the below requirements.

Requirements for this role

  • Completed your masters level qualification
  • Registered as a non-medical prescriber
  • Demonstrated & achieved the skills associated with cardiology provision
  • Provided evidence of your case management of a group of patients within Cardiology
  • Evidence of an e-portfolio illustrating your learning continuum (RCPCH 2020, HEE 2020)
  • Have a professional 5-year development plan (HEE 2020)
  • You will have a named dedicated Consultant & Advanced Clinical Practitioner supervisor to support your own skills & educational needs across the 4 pillars of ACP, (HEE 2019)
