Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate StR Lower in Adult Psychiatry to join our team in Coventry. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to gain valuable experience and training in adult psychiatry while providing essential care to individuals with mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and provide ongoing care to adult patients under the supervision of senior medical staff.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor and review patients' progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed.
- Participate in educational activities and clinical supervision to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress notes.
- Adhere to relevant policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines to ensure safe and effective patient care.
Requirements:
- Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Enrolled in or completion of core psychiatry training (CT1/CT2) or equivalent.
- Interest in pursuing a career in adult psychiatry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
