Pulse have recently partnered with  one of the UK’s specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Respiratory Physiologist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Weston-Super-Mare, which is easily accessible via public transport.

As a Respiratory Physiologist, you will be responsible for performing and supporting the reporting of high quality respiratory diagnostic tests.

Your main responsibilities as a Respiratory Physiologist:

  • Perform multiple respiratory examinations to a high quality and with precision
  • Record all data accurately within the policy
  • Interpret assessments as required
  • Support the patient pathway within respiratory, ensuring patients understand the procedure they are about to undertake and any reasonable adjustments are made
  • Maintain the quality control of the equipment
  • Train and mentor the team
  • Provide reports as requested by your manager
  • Assist and participate in audits as required

What we are looking for in a Respiratory Physiologist:

  • Experienced Respiratory Physiologist
  • BSc in Healthcare Science (Physiological Science) or equivalent
  • Experience or the ability to train other members of the team
  • ARTP professional Qualification
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong people skills
