Pulse have recently partnered with one of the UK’s specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Advanced Lead Clinical Pharmacist (ICU and Surgery) , who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Lincoln, which is easily accessible via public transport.
About the role:
As an Advanced Lead Clinical Pharmacist , you will be working in a clinical and service development capacity to ensure the service to patients is planned, delivered and evaluated in line with evidence-based practice.

Your main responsibilities as an Advanced Lead Clinical Pharmacist:
- Provide specialist clinical pharmacist support to a designated Speciality and support to other wards and departments as appropriate
- Provide pharmaceutical advice and financial information to nursing, medical and administrative staff for the Medical Directorate
- Manage and supervise the work of pharmacists, pre-registration pharmacists and technicians working for the Medical Directorate
- Work with the Pharmacy Education and Training Team in developing and delivering clinical training programmes on medicines in Medicine
- Provide professional support for Medicines Information and supervision in the Dispensary as required
What we are looking for in an Advanced Clinical Lead Pharmacist :
- Master’s degree in Pharmacy
- Registration as a Pharmacist with General Pharmaceutical Council
- Supervisory experience
- Prescriber qualification or willingness to undertake training to achieve prescribing qualification
