Pulse have recently partnered with one of the UK’s specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Advanced Lead Clinical Pharmacist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Boston, which is easily accessible via public transport.
 
About the role:
As an Advanced Lead Clinical Pharmacist, you will be working in a clinical and service development capacity to ensure the service to patients is planned, delivered and evaluated in line with evidence-based practice.

Your main responsibilities as an Advanced Lead Clinical Pharmacist:

  • Provide specialist clinical pharmacist support to a designated Speciality and support to other wards and departments
  • Provide pharmaceutical advice and financial information to nursing, medical andadministrative staff for the Medical Directorate
  • Manage and supervise the work of pharmacists, foundation pharmacists andpre-registration pharmacy technicians
  • Work with the Pharmacy Education and Training Team in developing anddelivering clinical training programmes on medicines in Medicine
  • Carry out Personal Development reviews and plans for line-managed Clinical Pharmacists
  • Participate in Late Working Cover, Saturday/Sunday Working rota and as part of the Pharmacist Out-Of-Hours On-call rota as required

What we are looking for in an Advanced Lead Clinical Pharmacist:

  • Pharmacy degree (Master/Batchelor)
  • Registration as a Pharmacist with General Pharmaceutical CouncilPrescriber qualification or willingness to undertake training to achieve prescribing qualification
  • Medicines Management experience gained in a Hospital environment across a range of specialities
