Are you an experienced Clinical Psychologist with expertise in working with adolescents with personality disorders?

Pulse Mental Health, a leading recruitment agency specializing in mental health services, is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Psychologist. The service are looking for a HCPC registered, compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join an esteemed NHS team in London as a Band 8a. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of young individuals facing complex mental health challenges. The service provides secondary care interventions to people who have difficulties characterised under the umbrella of a 'personality disorder' diagnosis. The role is available to start ASAP on an ongoing basis, with either part time or full time hours available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions for adolescents presenting with personality disorders.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Deliver a range of therapeutic interventions, to support recovery and promote emotional well-being.
  • Contribute to service development initiatives and research projects aimed at enhancing the understanding and treatment of adolescent personality disorders.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral-level qualification in Clinical Psychology and registration with the HCPC.
  • Extensive post-qualification experience working as a Clinical Psychologist with young people, with a focus on personality disorders.
  • Demonstrated expertise in conducting psychological assessments and delivering a range of therapeutic interventions for adolescents with complex mental health needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with adolescents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care and promoting positive outcomes for service users.
  • A proactive approach to continuous professional development and a willingness to contribute to service improvement initiatives.
