Position: Band 7 Neuro Physiotherapist with Inpatient Experience

Role Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Band 7 Neuro Physiotherapist with inpatient experience to join our esteemed team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with neurological conditions within inpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, and spinal cord injury, to determine functional limitations and rehabilitation goals.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of each patient, utilizing evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to optimize functional recovery and independence.
- Provide expert physiotherapy interventions, including gait training, balance exercises, mobility training, and therapeutic exercises, to improve motor function, strength, and range of motion.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including neurologists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and nurses, to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
- Offer education and support to patients and their families on self-management techniques, adaptive strategies, and community resources to facilitate successful transition to home or community-based settings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Chartered Physiotherapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Substantial experience working as a Band 7 Physiotherapist in neurology or neuro-rehabilitation within inpatient settings.
- Specialized knowledge and expertise in the assessment and management of patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injury.
- Advanced skills in conducting neurological assessments, interpreting assessment findings, and formulating comprehensive treatment plans.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
