Job Description:
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Band 6 Neuro Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing specialized support to individuals with neurological conditions, particularly focusing on Stoke assessments and rehabilitation.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients with neurological conditions, including Stoke assessments, to evaluate functional abilities and identify areas for intervention.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to patients' specific needs and goals.
- Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote independence, improve functional outcomes, and enhance quality of life.
- Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care delivery and holistic support for patients.
- Offering education and support to patients and their families regarding strategies for managing neurological symptoms and maximizing participation in meaningful activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience working as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, with a focus on neurorehabilitation and Stoke assessments.
- Strong clinical skills in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
