Job Title: Clinical Team Manager - Learning Disabilities/Autism

Pulse Mental Health, a leading recruitment agency specializing in mental health services, is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Team Manager specializing in Learning Disabilities and Autism. This dynamic role can be covered by either a Psychologist or Occupational Therapist with expertise in this field. Position Overview: As a Clinical Team Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading a multidisciplinary team and overseeing the provision of high-quality, person-centered care for individuals with learning disabilities and autism. This challenging and rewarding position requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Clinical Leadership:

    • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based interventions.
    • Oversee the assessment and formulation of care plans tailored to the unique needs of individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
  2. Team Management:

    • Manage and develop a team of dedicated professionals, including Psychologists and Occupational Therapists.
    • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment that promotes continuous learning and professional development.
  3. Service Development:

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative and effective services for individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
    • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to enhance service provision and quality of care.
  4. Clinical Governance:

    • Ensure compliance with clinical governance standards, policies, and procedures.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, implementing improvements as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. For Psychologists:

    • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent qualification).
    • HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist.
  2. For Occupational Therapists:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
    • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  3. Substantial experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism, including experience at a Band 6 level or above.

  4. Proven leadership and management skills in a clinical setting.

  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
