Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Leadership: Provide expert psychiatric care and leadership within the CAMHS inpatient setting, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, formulate diagnoses, and develop personalized treatment plans for young individuals with a range of mental health conditions.

Treatment Planning: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective and evidence-based treatment interventions for patients.

Patient Advocacy: Advocate for the well-being and rights of young patients, ensuring their needs are met within a safe and therapeutic environment.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, nurses, and therapists, to deliver integrated care and achieve positive outcomes for patients.

Research and Development: Stay abreast of current research, guidelines, and best practices in psychiatry and contribute to the continuous improvement of services through innovation and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:
- Medical degree and registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Specialist training in Psychiatry with CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) or equivalent.
- Substantial experience working in CAMHS, particularly in an inpatient setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
