Job Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Specialty Training Registrar (StR) Lower in Adult Psychiatry to join a reputable healthcare facility in Norwich. As an integral part of the psychiatric team, the successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care, participate in training programs, and play a key role in shaping the future of mental health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for adult patients.
- Provide clinical leadership and contribute to the multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of mental health policies and procedures.
- Engage in continuous professional development and training activities to enhance clinical skills.
- Contribute to teaching and training programs for junior medical staff, medical students, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
- Actively participate in clinical audits and research activities to contribute to evidence-based practice.
Requirements:
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and eligibility to work in the UK.
- Completion of Foundation Year 2 (F2) or equivalent experience.
- Relevant experience in Adult Psychiatry, preferably at the StR level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
