Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Expertise: Provide high-quality clinical care and psychiatric assessment to adult patients within the Community Mental Health Team.
- Treatment Planning: Develop comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, nurses, and social workers, to provide integrated and holistic care.
- Consultation and Liaison: Collaborate with external stakeholders such as primary care providers, social services, and voluntary organizations to enhance patient care and support services.
- Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and supervision to junior medical staff, contributing to their professional development.
- Audit and Research: Participate in clinical audits and research activities to contribute to the continuous improvement of services and patient care.
- Training and Education: Contribute to the education and training of junior medical staff and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Specialist accreditation in General Adult Psychiatry.
- Relevant experience working in Community Mental Health settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
