Job Description:
Pulse Recruitment Agency is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant Psychiatrist specializing in General Adult Psychiatry for an exciting opportunity in a reputable inpatient setting in London. Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Expertise:
- Provide high-quality psychiatric care to adult patients in an inpatient setting.
- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnosis, and formulate treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care.

Treatment Planning and Implementation:
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and monitor their effectiveness.
- Conduct therapy sessions and facilitate therapeutic interventions.

Patient Advocacy:
- Advocate for the rights and needs of patients, ensuring their voices are heard in the treatment process.
- Work towards destigmatizing mental health issues and promoting a patient-centered approach.

Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
- Participate in regular case conferences, team meetings, and contribute to clinical discussions.

Professional Development:
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in psychiatry and mental health.
- Engage in continuous professional development and training activities.
Requirements:
- Medical degree and valid GMC registration.
- AC Approval
- Completion of specialist training in psychiatry.
- CCT or equivalent certification in General Adult Psychiatry.
- Substantial experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist in an inpatient setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
